Services and Fees

Naturopathic Medical Services with Dr. Tayler

The following services and fees listed below are for naturopathic medical appointments with Dr. Tayler at her offices in Arizona and they enable her to offer you high quality care, which she does by limiting her number of patients and reserving sufficient time to research your health conditions thoroughly and respond to all of your questions and concerns as quickly as possible. If cost is an issue, or if you have an idea for a service that would work better for you, or you would like to request that Dr. Tayler meet you at a different location (she will make house calls under some circumstances), please Contact her to discuss it. Please note that these services are currently only available in Arizona, where Dr. Tayler is a licensed physician. If you are planning to make an appointment with Dr. Tayler in a different location, please schedule a Lifestyle or Homeopathic consultation (see the sections below).

  • Initial Naturopathic Medical Consultation (1.5 hours), cost $350 (US) for new patients and $225 (US) for existing Homeopathy or Lifestyle clients
This is a first appointment for Naturopathic medical services. Appointment includes a physical exam, extensive interview with a review of existing medical records and medical intake forms, and a diagnosis and treatment plan with suggestions for additional testing and allied therapies, if needed. This consultation also includes free email communications with Dr. Taylor for clarifications and adjustments regarding your treatment for up to 60 days after the appointment.

  • Follow-up Naturopathic Medical Consultation (45 minutes), cost $134 (US)
For existing patients, this is a follow-up appointment after your initial appointment to review your treatment progress against the plan to make adjustments, as needed. This consultation also includes free email communications for clarifications regarding your treatment adjustment(s) for up to 30 days after the appointment.

  • Combined Initial/Follow-up Naturopathic Medical Consultation (1.5 hours/45 minutes), cost $422 (US) for new patients and $278 (US) for existing Homeopathy or Lifestyle clients
This is a discounted option to pay for your initial appointment and one follow-up appointment (both described above) in advance. This is recommended since most people need at least one follow-up appointment for evaluation and treatment adjustments.

Other areas may also be possible, subject to local laws regarding Homeopathy practice and Dr. Tayler's travel schedule. Contact Dr. Tayler for more details.

Other Services and Fees:

  • Lab tests to help with diagnosis and treatment: many people need at least $100 worth of initial lab tests to help determine the root causes of their health concerns, and $300 to $500 is not uncommon. Some of these tests are available from local laboratories and some need to be coordinated through Dr. Tayler with laboratories in other states. In either case, many of these tests are now covered by medical insurance companies even when Naturopathic consultation fees are not, and often the laboratories will bill your medical insurance company directly.

  • Medications, supplements, and equipment (like glucose monitoring equipment, as needed): it is not uncommon for Dr. Tayler to recommend $50 to $150 worth of medical grade herbs or other supplements each month for several months when beginning treatment. This generally decreases considerably as your health improves, and that is the goal. It is never Dr. Tayler's intention for you to need supplements of any sort indefinitely, although that does happen in some cases. These costs are sometimes covered by medical insurance, but not often. Dr. Tayler can assist you with ordering the supplements you need at discounted prices from quality suppliers, and she can provide you with some of the more common supplements that she keeps in the office, at cost. Neither Dr. Tayler nor Wildhorse Naturopathic Medicine sells or in any way profits from the sale of any supplements that she recommends for your treatment and she believes that it would be unethical to do so.

  • Adjunct Therapies: sometimes Dr. Tayler will recommend adjunct therapies such as constitutional hydrotherapy, massage, acupuncture, mind/body treatments and other related/recommended treatments. In some cases, Dr. Tayler is able to complete these therapies herself and the costs are included in the appointment fees listed above. Otherwise, the prices will vary depending on the adjunct therapist rates and what you choose as part of your treatment plans.
