Consultations with Dr. Tayler

Dr. Tayler currently schedules 4 types of consultations: Medical Marijuana evaluations, Initial Homeopathy/Naturopathy appointments, Homeopathy/Naturopathy series, and Follow-up appointments for existing patients. Each type of consultation is described in more detail below:

*** NOTE: Dr. Tayler now offers a "Pay What You Can" option for all appointment types, and will continue to do so for as long as she can afford it. So, if you cannot afford regular fees, please schedule an appointment anyway and pay what you can. Of course, donations are always gratefully and gracefully accepted to help offset the costs of offering this service to those who need it, and will be used accordingly. ***

1. Medical Marijuana Evaluation - now offered through the SWAPA office (www.myswapa.com)

At Swapa: $99 OR Housecall: $147

Choose this appointment type if you have never consulted with Dr. Tayler before and you want to consult with her now about an evaluation for obtaining a physician's certification form for medical marijuana that you need as part of the process for applying for a state card. Note that if you do not have sufficient diagnostic information in your existing medical records for your qualifying condition, then you will need to have appropriate diagnostic work such as x-rays and/or blood tests completed and schedule a follow-up appointment with Dr. Tayler for $127 to review your test results before you can be certified. This is in addition to your initial evaluation appointment, so please discuss the details of what you need to bring to your appointment with Dr. Tayler before you schedule your evaluation. Dr. Tayler can order the appropriate tests for you at your initial appointment, if needed, or she will discuss other options with you such as visiting your regular family physician or a chiropractor for appropriate diagnostic work in advance of your evaluation appointment to save you the charges involved in an additional appointment.

2. Initial Homeopathy or Naturopathy Appointment

New Patients $275, Established patients or children $175.

Choose this consultation type if you would like to consult with Dr. Tayler about combined Homeopathic and/or Naturopathic treatment for a health condition or if you would like a thorough evaluation of your medical history and individualized guidance on your lifestyle and nutrition habits for healthy aging and disease prevention, including a constitutional Homeopathy analysis.

This service combines a variety of treatment approaches, though Dr. Tayler prefers to use Homeopathy as a primary modality and add others only as needed. This appointment lasts about 1.5 hours and includes a Homeopathy intake with a basic Naturopathic evaluation, or an extended Naturopathic evaluation if you do not wish to have Homeopathic treatment. If you are an adult and have an eligible condition, a medical marijuana evaluation is included in this appointment, as well, if you would like one, along with evaluation for herbal medicine options, in general. Additionally, you have the option for bio-identical hormone replacement therapy prescriptions, medically supervised weight loss (including HCG), prescription refills, and all the other guidance and treatment options that Dr. Tayler offers, including individualized nutrition/lifestyle and supplement suggestions.

4. Additional Follow-up Appointments for Established Patients

$127 with House calls available in some areas for an additional $47 per appointment

Choose this appointment type if you are an established patient with Dr. Tayler and would like an additional appointment to discuss further treatment options and/or modifications to your existing treatment plan(s) and/or healthy lifestyle management now that your health conditions have resolved. A normal follow-up appointment lasts about an hour.

Notes:

1. Dr. Tayler sometimes offers discounts for family members of existing patients and for group consultations. Please contact her directly for more information.
2. Each type of appointment includes free follow-up email and phone communication with Dr. Tayler regarding your treatment during the course of it and for 60 days after your last appointment, within reason. Please limit phone calls to 15 minutes or less and only when your question or concern is urgent. Otherwise, please e-mail Dr. Tayler and she will do her best to respond within 24-48 hours.

Insurance and Health Services Tax Credit Account:

Many health insurance plans and health savings accounts will cover some or all of the costs of your treatment with Dr. Tayler, who is a licensed naturopathic physician in the state of Arizona. Please check with your health insurance company and/or the administrator of your health savings account to determine what documentation you need in order to file for reimbursement and Dr. Tayler will gladly provide you with the information that you need in order to complete that process.
